ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost on the road at Elizabethtown College, 25-6, on Wednesday evening at Wolf Field.
Sterling Bechler and Dontez Porter each scored twice for the Eagles, while Brayden Yeager provided four assists. Liam Wlash scored once while Zane Kromer tallied a goal and two assists. Landon Heddens totaled six ground balls and a caused turnover, while Griffin Umstead made 25 saves in goal.
The Blue Jays scored the first 17 goals of the game over the first and second quarters, with Kromer finding Porter for the first Eagle goal of the game.
Elizabethtown scored the final three goals of the half to make it 20-1.
The hosts scored twice in the first seven minutes, before Yeager found Walsh and Bechler for two consecutive Eagle goals.
In the fourth, Juniata scored three of the game's final four goals to complete the score line.
The Eagles will return to action Saturday against Moravian, where they will honor their seniors before the game.
