HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost their final regular season game of the year to visiting Drew, 23-11, Saturday afternoon.
Vincent Bechler led the way with three goals, five assists, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Sterling Bechler and Charlie Newman each scored twice while Matt McCleary had two assists. Liam Walsh, Jahmir Barber, Logan Douglas and Reuben Stoll scored one goal apiece.
Newman scored off a V. Bechler pass just over two minutes into the game. The Rangers scored four goals over the next eight minutes before V. Bechler found Stoll to stop the bleeding. Drew led 5-3 after one.
The Rangers dominated the second, scoring eight goals and Juniata trailed by 13-4 at the half.
The Eagles won the second half 10-7, but couldn't quite make up the deficit.
Juniata finishes the year 3-14.
