Washleski Secures a Top 5 Finish at Susquehanna
Hummels Wharf, Pa.- The Eagles teed off their first B team event of the year at the Susquehanna Fall Invitational. The Eagles finished in fifth out of 16 teams, shooting 308 at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
Kole Washleski played well today for the Eagles, shooting a three-over-par 73. A birdie and a lot of pars helped guide Washleski to a T4 finish out of a 68-man field. Following up Washleski was Ian Nagel, making his collegiate debut, shooting 77. Nagel secured a top 20 finish in his first event, snagging three birdies. Colin Wible posted a 78 today on a tight, tree-lined track, leading him to a T24 finish. Wible's three birdies had him tied for the team lead. Ethan Brown started off his Senior year with an 80. Brown shot 38 on the front nine to secure a T35 finish at Susquehanna Valley. Larry Singer snagged a tough birdie on the par-three third hole. Singer found an 81 on the course today, putting him in 40th place. Jaron Yoder played as an individual today, shooting 88. Yoder saw two putts drop for birdie to finish in 60th place.
The Eagles play next at the Cardinal Classic hosted by Catholic at Black Rock Golf Club in Hagerstown, Maryland, on September 27th and 28th.
