Men’s Basketball Picked Fourth in Landmark Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference announced its 2016 Men's Basketball Preseason Poll on Thursday. Juniata was picked to finish fourth overall with 41 points. The Eagles had two first-place votes.

Susquehanna was tabbed to finish first with 60 points and four first-place votes. Catholic and Scranton tied for second with 52 points and one first place vote each. Rounding out the poll after JC are Moravian (24), Drew (17), Goucher (15), and Elizabethtown (11).

The Eagles went 16-11 last season and qualified as the fourth seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament. Juniata also was selected to the ECAC Tournament for the fourth time in five years. JC tips off its 2016-17 season on November 18 against Penn State Altoona in the Coaches Vs. Cancer Tournament. The home opener is November 22 versus Washington and Jefferson.
