JC Blair Sports Medicine Sponsoring Little Eagle Basketball Club
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s basketball team, in conjunction with JC Blair Sports Medicine, will once again host the Little Eagle Basketball Club this season. The club is for boys and girls ages 5-13.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's basketball team, in conjunction with JC Blair Sports Medicine, will once again host the Little Eagle Basketball Club this season. The club is for boys and girls ages 5-13.
The club's purpose is to teach children about the fun and fundamentals of basketball while building positive relationships between Juniata student-athletes and the children of our community. Members will also receive a club t-shirt good for admission to all Juniata men's and women's basketball games, a 2015-2016 schedule poster, admission to four free clinics, and free admission for the entire family on Family Night. Club members in attendance at home basketball games will also have the opportunity to win prizes during special half-time contests.
Two of the four free basketball clinics will be held on November 15th and December 6 at 1 p.m. The other two clinic dates will be announced at a later date. The clinics will cover the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Clinics will last an hour and fifteen minutes and will consist of individual station work, group lecture, games and contests.
