Piccioni Named Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata field hockey, standout Nicole Piccioni (Richfield, Pa. / Midd-West) was named Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.

Piccioni had a hand at two Juniata shutouts last week. The goalkeeper made one stop in the 1-0 win against Misericordia and had one save in the 6-0 victory against Goucher.

Juniata will host Susquehanna for a mid-week conference game on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
