Wakefield Named to ECAC All-ECAC First Team Defense
DANBURY, Conn.- Juniata football standout Dillion Wakefield adds to his list of accolades, as he was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Football All-ECAC First Team Defense.
Wakefield was named to the Landmark All-Conference first team earlier in the year. He totaled 107 tackles, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup in his first full season on the defensive side of the ball. The junior linebacker had double-digit tackles in seven games this season, including a career-high 16 against Lycoming.
