Reighard Named to D3Football.com Team of the Week

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata sophomore defensive back Joel Reighard (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area HS) has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week. This is Reighard's first weekly honor of his career.

Reighard made his first career start last Saturday against Grove City in Juniata's season opener. He made an impact with six total tackles, two interceptions, and two pass breakups. His first interception covered 62 yards and is the longest return in nine years. His second one came with time winding down in the fourth quarter as he picked off Wolverine quarterback Brett Lafoon in the endzone to secure the Eagles' 31-26 victory.

The Eagles host Dickinson this coming Saturday in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams. Game time from Knox Stadium will be at 1:00 p.m.
