HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College football won the Centennial Conference play of the week for the second time this season. The Eagles received 54 percent of the votes and over a hundred more than the second place clip.
After Gettysburg kicked a filed goal to pull within five (14-9) in the beginning of the second quarter, junior Isaiah Slutter (Hawley, Pa./Wallenpaupack Area) broke tackles, sprung from the pack and bounced it out up the sideline for a 56-yard return. The run was the longest return of his career and the game. Juniata went on to win 38-16 over the Bullets.
