Women's Tennis Defeated by Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Juniata women's tennis team fell, 8-1 at Catholic, Saturday afternoon.

Savannah Bailey (Rockville, Md. / Richard Montgomery) and Kelley Appow (Freehold, N.J. / Freehold Township) won, 8-6 at first doubles, Jamie Mahigel (Lewistown, Pa. / Mifflin County) and Emily Dowler (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton) fell, 8-3 at second doubles, and Kady Lohr (Shanksville, Pa. / -) and Theresa Joson (Bowmansville, Pa. / Garden Spot) fell, 8-1 at third doubles. 

Bailey fell, 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, Dowler fell, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 at second singles, and Appow fell, 6-1, 6-0 at third singles. Mahigel fell, 7-6, 6-2 at fourth singles, Lohr fell, 6-3, 6-1 at fifth singles, and Joson fell, 6-3, 6-1 at sixth singles. 

Juniata will host Hartford Community College, Wednesday April, 17th at 3:00PM.
