HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata men's and women's tennis teams will each be looking to make history when they take on the Catholic University Cardinals, Saturday afternoon. Each team will be looking for their 14th win of the season, marking all-time records for men and women in single season win totals.
The Eagles' playoff aspirations will also be at stake against their Landmark foes. With two wins, the women will host a conference playoff game, and the men will clinch a playoff birth of their own.
Currently, between both teams, the tennis program sits at 26-9 in 2012-13. The influence of head coach Jason Cohen in his first full year has been apparent. Another integral part of this year's success, on the men's side, has been the leadership and play of seniors Tucker Good (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) and Brice Morey (Enola, Pa. / East Pennsboro). The Eagles will celebrate the accomplishments of Good and Morey in a senior day ceremony prior to Saturday's match.
Both teams will begin play at 12 pm on Saturday at the Raffensperger Tennis Courts. This is Juniata's last regular season match of the year.
