Bankos paced Juniata (3-0) to a 82-51 season-opening win on the road against Penn State Harrisburg Tuesday, Nov. 15. She logged a game-high 15 points and went a perfect 8-8 at the charity stripe.
She followed up that standout performance with another double-digit scoring contest against Widener University in Starter Pub's DeSales Tip-Off Tournament. Bankos posted a game-high 22 points for the Eagles and grabbed nine defensive rebounds to lead Juniata to a 68-63 victory.

The last time women's hoops posted three wins in opening week was back in 2007-08, when the Eagles put-up wins over John Carroll (66-52), Bethany College (53-51) and Penn State Altoona (79-73).
Juniata will look to extend its winning streak at home on Tuesday, Nov. 22 for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off against Mount Aloysius in the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center.
