JC Baseball to Hold Youth Clinics and Showcase

Huntingdon, Pa. – Juniata's baseball team will be conducting two Youth Clinics and a High School Baseball Showcase Clinic this winter.

The Youth Clinics will take place on January 21st and January 29th in Kennedy Sports & Recreation Center on the campus of Juniata College. For ages 6-15, the clinic offers hitting, pitching and fielding sessions, led by the team's coaching staff. The sessions cost $25 per session and begin at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. each day.

Additionally, on January 21st, the coaching staff will conduct a High School Baseball Showcase Clinic for 2017-2020 high school graduates. The first session of the showcase clinic is for infielders and outfielders from 1-2:30 p.m. The second is for pitchers and catchers from 2:30-4 p.m. Players will have the opportunity to show their offensive and defensive skills and learn from the Juniata coaching staff. Pitchers will also get to throw a bullpen. "This showcase clinic is designed for us to identify potential new and current recruits, as well as teach the fundamentals of the game," says head coach Adam Sheibley. Each session costs $40; a written evaluation is available as well for an additional $10.
