Daniel Geiser earned 13 letters - four in basketball and three each in basketball, football, and track and field - during his career on College Hill. He was a halfback, punter, and kicker in football; a guard in basketball; and an outfielder in baseball. "Danny" was a basketball captain as a senior and led the Eastern Pennsylvania Baseball League in hitting as a junior. He set the Juniata pole vault record in 1937 and broke his own mark in 1938. He received the Thaddeus Hyatt Cup as a senior in recognition of his "outstanding achievement in football, scholarship, and character.
